This page explains what we collect, how searches stay private, and the choices you have. It is a plain-language draft and should be reviewed by counsel before launch.
What we collect
Account information you give us: name, email address, and password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
Search information: the details you enter about an adult subject, the match you select, and the reports generated for you.
Usage information: pages viewed, checkout steps reached, and error diagnostics.
Your searches are private
Only you can see who you searched, which reports you purchased, and your saved searches. Other customers can never see them.
Staff access is role-controlled and logged, and is used only for support, accuracy corrections, privacy requests, and fraud prevention.
Public-record information
Public records are sourced from lawfully available providers. We record where each record came from and when it was retrieved.
We suppress information about minors and avoid exact residential details where they are not necessary.
Prohibited uses
Verify Your Dates is not a consumer reporting agency. Reports may not be used for employment, tenant, credit, insurance, or other eligibility decisions.
Using Verify Your Dates for stalking, harassment, intimidation, or doxxing is prohibited and may result in account termination.
Your choices
You can request correction or removal of information, dispute a finding, opt out of marketing email, or delete your account.
